We do things a bit differently, and that's the way we like it!
Would you like to explore the more remote areas around tropical far north Queensland, the Coral Sea & PNG — cruise, dive and photograph places never seen by another human—fish amazing locations—free dive and snorkel clear waters—kite surf the trade winds behind an incredible isolated coral sandbank—or lay naked with your special someone on a tiny sand pimple in the middle of the ocean hundreds of kilometres from the next person.?
Yes! Well, “Cruising the edge” will hone your dreams, and give you valuable information from our experiences. Our coral paradise extends along Australia's northeast coast 2300km to the Gulf of Papua, 1000km out to sea, and then there are 900 islands plus isolated rivers and hidy holes all around the cape. —it's always a perfect time to adventure.
I am a retired young man in his 60s who has been exploring Australia's coral reefs since 2006. My partner Sylvie Jambu joined me in 2011; she had cruised and dived the four corners of the world over the previous 20 years. We have had lots of far-flung fun adventures together in our 14m catamaran and have gained further appreciation of many fascinating new locations, both above and below the water line. We give a unique perspective and valuable insights about getting off the beaten track. It’s the information I wanted when I started to explore.
I hope you find this blog both interesting and useful.
